Nothing like a bit of red, white and blue

It is that time of year, here in the good ole USA!

But it doesn’t necessarily take a holiday for residents to get out the grill and fire it up to cook hamburgers, hotdogs or barbecue ribs. Or add a little watermelon to the outing.

But I digress.

Next Monday, we will be celebrating our Independence Day on July 4. That's the date on which the papers were signed by our Continental Congress in Philadelphia in 1776.

It is amazing at what the country has evolved into having to go though so much. We have been through a lot. One can refer to it as the good, bad, and ugly but we manage to keep on going.

Depending on what side of the political isle one is, we may be going in the right direction, or not.  All I know is that we just keep on going.

But nevertheless, for better or worse, a lot of people consider the United States the place to be.

And as the day approaches next Monday, we just want to wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July!

Just be careful around all those fireworks.
